Robolab at the University of Tartu Narva College brings together robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision and applied data science to develop practical solutions for industry, education and society.

In Roboclass, students learn the fundamentals of robotics and control systems, and then apply this knowledge by operating and programming real robotic platforms.

Robolab supports companies and organisations with robotics R&D, feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, simulation, data collection and applied development projects.

Led by the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Centre for Sustainable Development of the University of Tartu, a guidance material has been developed for researchers on how to conduct interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research.

On 14 November, the Just Transition Forum “From smart shrinkage to sustainable large-scale industry. Visions for the future of Ida-Viru” will be held at the Narva College.
