Poetry Workshop with American Poet Heather Derr-Smith

On November 14, 2017, Narva College of the University of Tartu, in cooperation with the USA Embassy in Tallinn, is holding a poetry workshop conducted by the American poet Heather Derr-Smith.

The event is open to anyone interested in poetry or creative writing or literature or who is just looking for a fun way to practice English language skills. All levels of writing and English are welcome to attend. Participants will read and discuss some poems by contemporary American poets, then have fun doing some creative writing exercises and sharing their work in a supportive, positive atmosphere.

Heather Derr-Smith is the author of four award-winning books of poetry, and she teaches poetry workshops around the world. For the month of November, she will be teaching in Estonia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and Bosnia.

The workshop will take place at Narva College of the University of Tartu, room 307, at 12:30-14:00.
