LECTURER AND RESEARCHER OF MULTICULTURALISM AND INTEGRATION (general specialisation: Political Science or Public Administration)
Position description
- The visiting scholar will perform lecturing and research activities in Tartu University Narva College during the period August 2017 – June 2018.
- The research areas of a scholar should follow into one of the following main research areas of the college: multiculturalism and integration in a broader sense covering issues from education, language rights to labour market participation and health; ethnopolitical regimes, minority rights and interethnic relations.
- Teaching contact hours are approximately 6 hours per week and 18 hours of preparation and assessment, research work is approximately 16 hours per week.
Desired qualifications of scholar
- Degree: PhD
- Years of teaching experience: at least 3-5 years of teaching experience at the tertiary education level in the position of Lecturer with corresponding letters of recommendation.
- Years of research experience: at least 5 years of research experience that may include research during PhD studies. Extensive experience in applying qualitative or quantitative research methods.

LECTURER OF ELT/CLIL METHODOLOGY (general sepcialisation: TEFL)
Position description
- The visiting scholar will perform lecturing in the University of Tartu Narva College during the period August 2017 – June 2018.
- Teaching contact hours are approximately 12 hours per week and 16 hours of preparation and assessment, research work is approximately 16 hours per week.
- The lectures involve the following areas: Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFTL), EFL Methodologies, Modern English Language
Desired qualifications of scholar
- Degree: MA
- Years of teaching experience: at least 3-5 years of teaching experience at the tertiary education level in the position of Lecturer with corresponding letters of recommendation.
