Apply to international master’s studies at the University of Tartu until 15 March

Applications to international master’s studies at the University of Tartu can be submitted until the midnight on Monday, 15 March. The application period to international bachelor’s studies is one month longer and ends on 15 April.

According to Eda Tursk, Head of International Admissions of the University of Tartu, the university welcomes new international students despite the difficulties due to the pandemic. “The university is doing everything in its power to start face-to-face studies in autumn and support the arrival of all admitted students in Estonia. However, we can now use our hybrid learning experience, if necessary, and we understand that due to travel restrictions, the arrival of some international students may be delayed,” said Tursk. Tursk also emphasised that filing the application takes some time, so applicants are advised not to leave it to the last minute.

This year, the University of Tartu accepts applications to three curricula of international bachelor’s studies and 24 curricula of international master’s studies. Each applicant can submit up to two applications per level of study.

Application requirements depend on the curriculum. For detailed information about each curriculum, see the web page of the curriculum. For general information, see the University of Tartu admissions website ut.ee/admissions.
