Admission
University of Tartu Narva College is the main centre of higher education in North-Eastern Estonia with a focus on teacher training for multilingual schools. We also provide courses in youth work, entrepreneurship and, as our newest course, information technology.
All programmes are taught in Estonian, but please note that you can apply for three of our bachelor’s programmes without knowing the Estonian language beforehand.

Studies
During the study period, there are many options for individual planning and self-development. On this page, you can find study instructions and rules for students of the first and second levels of higher education: bachelor´s students, master´s students, professional higher education students and students of integrated bachelor's and master's studies.
Research and development
In line with the specifics of the college, our main area of expertise is teaching in second language and multilingual education. The college is Estonia’s leading developer of methods for content and language integrated learning (CLIL) and tandem language learning. The college is an active and experienced partner, and often the leading party, in international projects.
About us
Narva College is one of regional units of the University of Tartu, which ranks among the world’s top universities. Since its inauguration in 1999, the Narva College has developed into a solid educational establishment full of youthful enthusiasm and desire to evolve.
18–19 October 2024, the 6th International Scientific Conference "Uralo-indogermanica" will take place at the Narva College of the University of Tartu.
Our main task is training bilingual teachers for schools in the multicultural environment with either Russian or Estonian as the language of instruction.
University of Tartu starts the project "Climate awareness from school to society: empowering children, youth and teachers to reduce the effects of climate change" with partners.
